SUBJECT: A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 49,
SECTION 2-271; CHAPTER 37, ARTICLE 1, SECTIONS 37-1-2 AND 37-1-3;
AND CHAPTER 37, ARTICLE 2, SECTION 37-2-21, OF THE HAWAI`I
COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO
SUSTAINABILITY, CLIMATE, EQUITY, AND RESILIENCE.
Attached is a Bill for an Ordinance to amend chapter 2, article 49, section 2-271; chapter 37,
article 1, sections 37-1-2 and 37-1-3; and chapter 37, article 2, section 37-2-21, of the Hawai`i
County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), relating to sustainability, climate, equity, and
resilience.
Please place this on the December 19, 2023 agenda of the appropriate committee.
