I am pleased to nominate Brian Cushnie of District 8 to the Fire Commission.
Brian worked for Ocean Farms of Hawaii at NELHA in aquaculture before serving as a Hawai'i
County Firefighter and paramedic for 27 years after obtaining his bachelor's degree in Fisheries
Biology.
After a successful career in firefighting, he wishes to give back by serving on the Fire
Commission. If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2024.
