Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Erica Perez of District 4 to the Environmental Management
Commission.
Erica has been living in Hawai'i for 22 years. She holds a Master of Science degree in Tropical
Conservation Biology and Environmental Science with a specialization in Aquaculture from the
University of Hawai'i at Hilo. Erica has also served as a member of the Hawai'i Cesspool
Conversion Working Group and as the Vice -President of the Hilo Surfrider Chapter. If
confirmed, she will serve until December 31, 2028.
