Re: Supplemental Appropriation
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by increasing revenues
by $360,000 in the Fund Balance From the Previous Year account in the General Fund and
appropriating same to the Corporation Counsel's special counsel and settlement expenditure
account.
Please note that in submitting Bill 196 for council action, Mayor Yamashiro certified to a
balance of $3,765,287.29 in the General'Fund fund balance. Bill 196 proposes to
appropriate $1 million and as such there remains adequate balance to cover the proposed
expenditure of $360,000.
