Aloha, thank you for the opportunity to voice my thoughts on this bill.
I live here in Keaukaha. The whole shoreline and the neighborhood is spectacular. The drive down
Kalanianaole is also spectacularly horrible, in sight and smell, between the industrial activity and the
constant shuttling of trucks. Driving past rows of used cars on one side of the street and fueling
stations etc is a travesty to the eyes when it sits in the middle of what has been designated an area
of natural beauty (as per the county report from 2005). Please move towards restoration and away
from further degradation.
Thank you, " c

As the 2005 county general plan states, this area is a place of natural beauty. Why would further commercial
development be supported?Shouldn't we be moving towards restoration of this place of natural beauty?
A used car lot and storage can, thrive in town in any busy commercial area.It is inconsistent to have an area doing double
duty as both a place of natural beauty and a commercial car lot.If there are any changes to our beloved Keaukaha,it
should be towards the reduction of large, unsightly and polluting commercial enterprises.
Respectfully,Giana Borgman
