Good morning,
I am writing to strongly protest the destroying of two food businesses in order to 9
• pave it over for yet another car dealership. Local people depend on these two
businesses for easy to reach food security and recreational water use.
Plus it is in one of the more beautiful parts of Hilo (Banyon Drive area), which :
also serves as a new tourist introduction to our area. Nothing says welcome
to our beautiful area more than car lots. Surely there is another place in town that a
can handle being a parking lot and oil based pollution hazard site rather right along our -
beautiful coastal area?
I know Hilo can do better than this.
