Subject: Bill 104 - Long-term Rental Class
Dear Councilmembers,
I write in favor of the Long-term Rental Class to encourage more vacant housing to be available for the rental market.
My husband and I struggled to find housing when we first came to the Big Island.We were fortunate to have wonderful
friends help us for many months to locate a place.We have been renting for two years now and are grateful to our
landlords.
Offering an incentive for property owners with vacant houses to provide more housing could only benefit our
community. Adequate, affordable housing continues to be a challenge. Please support Bill 104 and be part igthe �
solution to encourage vacant property owners to provide more housing. rri
