Aloha,
I fully support Bill 109 to stop the Mayor's office from
Cronyism, conflicts of interest and nepotism. This will be a much needed check
and balance to Mayor's appointments.
We have seen a lot of this behavior during the current administration, with current
appointments where there is a complete disregard for the impact of the decisions
made on the community causing great loss of life of pets and family members or
injury. This kind of person has no place in leadership on our island. There needs
to be accountability to the council on these leadership positions.
