Re: Corn 620.01: Resolution 372-23 - Request for Reconsideration; Resolution 372-23
Aloha Madame Chair and council members,
I urge the county to solve it's waste water problems rather than flush Millions in
taxpayers dollars down the drain in legal wrangling. The regulations are settled, and
Hawaii county is out of compliance with the law.
Hawaii County is facing an islandwide consent decree from the EPA after decades of
ignoring the situation. Again, solutions are available and expensive attorneys aren't the
answer. I suggest the way forward is to meet with regulators and planners to develop a
viable plan to implement.
Lawyers don't make multiple violations of federal law go away. Solving the probate'
does. Comm. No. ' •Ref.To: litnte

Please get on with solving Hawaii County's waste water challenges.
