Aloha Council Members,
I am writing to request your support for the Contingency Relief Funds resolution earmarking$1,500 to Malama 0 Puna
to support events and activities hosted by the Kea'au Middle PTSA.
I am an elementary educator serving this student population, a mother of a KMS student, and a member of the Kea'au
Middle School PTSA.
The PTSA has hosted several events benefitting the students and community hosting a welcome night at the beginning
of the year for parents and students,the book fair, a Halloween event open to the public, and provided refreshements
for participants in the Kea'au Lighted Christmas parade, among others. Each of these events has been an opportunity for
teachers, students, parents, and the community to connect.These connections build help build the strong foundation of
school community upon which our students can rely.
I urge you to please support these contingency relief funds going to the Kea'au Middle School PTSA so they may
continue to improve the lives of those in our community. c^J
