Re: Proposed Amendments to Resolution 383-23, Resolution authorizing the payment of
funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year for a multi-year agreement for
an Independent Auditor(s)
Please see below, the proposed amendments to Resolution No. 383-23, amending the
fiscal years of the audit service period. The proposed amendments are shown in
Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 383-23, where the
material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is bolded
and underscored.
1. The first WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS,the agreement is to be for five (5) years, commencing with the
audit year ending June 30, [2023] 2024; now therefore,"
2. The first RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I
that it authorizes the Chair of the Council as its Chief Procurement Officer and through
its County Auditor,to proceed with the award of a multi-year contract for an independent
auditor to perform the required annual audit services covering the fiscal years ending
June 30, [2023] 2024 through June 30, [2027] 2028."
A draft copy of proposed Resolution No. 383-23, Draft 2, has been intentionally omitted
due to the limited scope of this amendment. If there are any questions, please do not
