Re: Operating Budget
In the current Budget Ordinance 23-50, $800,000 is appropriated in the Office of
Housing and Community Development's Mainstream Voucher Program account.
Additional federal funds in the amount of$150,000 are being provided by the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD)to be used towards
housing assistance payment costs for the Mainstream Voucher Program.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these
additional funds into the Office of Housing and Community Development's Mainstream
Voucher Program account, bringing the total appropriation to $950,000.

The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting to amend Ordinance 23-50 by
appropriating the following:

Mainstream Voucher Program 152.3309.70 $150,000.00
Expenditure:
Mainstream Voucher Program 152.461.5466.31.371 $150,000.00
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
This appropriation reflects additional rental subsidy funding allocation to be received from the U.S. •
Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Mainstream Voucher Program. The $150,000 is to
be used for housing assistance payment costs for the Mainstream Program.
