COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 399 24. <br /> RESOLUTION CHANGING THE STATUS AND FUNDING SOURCE <br /> OF ONE (1) PROGRAM SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (TEMPORARY) <br /> POSITION TO BECOME A FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, in 2019, the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br /> (FEMA) provided federal funding for three (3) temporary positions under the <br /> Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP); <br /> WHEREAS, the federal funding for these positions has ceased at the end <br /> of the grant term; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Department desires to change one (1) of the <br /> three (3) positions, Position No. 00-05002 Program Support Technician (Temp), <br /> from temporary status to become a full-time permanent position funded by the <br /> County; and <br /> WHEREAS, this position will be reallocated to a Human Resources <br /> Technician, which is critical for the Planning Department's Administrative <br /> Services staff to properly support the growing Department; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br /> that position 00-05002, Program Support Technician (Temp), be changed from <br /> temporary status, to become a full-time permanent County funded position for <br /> future reallocation to a Human Resources Technician. <br />
