Re: Resolution Changing the Funding Source and Status of Position No. 00-05002
Enclosed is a resolution changing the funding source of and status of federally funded
position, Position No. 00-05002. In 2019, the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) provided federal funding for Position No. 00-05002, Program Support
Technician (Temp), under the Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP). Grant
funding has ceased and the Department desires to convert this position to a full-time
permanent County funded position for future reallocation to a Human Resources
Technician.

Requesting approval to permanently fund position 00-05002, Program Support Technician (Temp),
reallocate to Human Resources Technician (Permanent), and change the funding source from grant fundT1
to County funded.
We are seeking to permanently fund the Program Support Technician (Temp) position 00-05002, originally
created utilizing funds received through a grant which has ended, reallocate this position to a Human
Resources Technician (Permanent) position, and change the funding source from grant funded to County
Funded. This position is critical in order for the Planning Department's administative services staff to
continue to provide the human resources and personnel management services essential to the effective
functioning of the department.
