These funds will be used to pursue technical assistance to evaluate the specific infrastructure needs and associated costs to inform next steps for infrastructure development. Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $69,680. To bolster our community's resilience, we have identified 9 Affordable Housing Complexes that do not currently have broadband (internet) access. We would use USDN Broadband Technical Assistance funds to pursue technical assistance to evaluate the specific infrastructure needs and associated costs to inform next steps for infrastructure development. This information will help us pursue further funding to install broadband in those areas.
