I am pleased to nominate Arthur Taniguchi of District 2 to the Liquor Commission.
Arthur is a lifelong resident of Hawai`i, a graduate of Hilo High,School, and holds an AA in
Business Administration from Honolulu Business College. His extensive educational background
and employment led to a career in retail bank management, which culminated in his retirement as
the Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at the Bank of Hawaii in 2018.
Arthur has dedicated numerous years to volunteer work and has held key leadership positions in
various oganizations. If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2028.
