SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to BillN—o.-T-07, an Ordinance Amending Ordinance No.
23-5 1, As Amended, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for
the Fiscal Year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
Please see below proposed amendment to Bill No. 107. The proposed amendment is illustrated
below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 107; material to be added is
underscored.
SECTION I of Bill No. 107, is amended by adding a new Section 2 with subsequent sections to
be renumbered, to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. As proposed in House Bill No. 1403 H.D. 1 (2022), allotments for this
project shall be made to any lands on the Island of Hawaii owned by the State, excluding lands
under the -jurisdiction of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, or County of Hawaii may be
considered in determining where to conduct site surveys. Lands owned by private parties may be
considered and site survey be conducted pursuant to agreements with landowners."
Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a copy of the revised draft of this bill that would
result if this amendment were adopted, is not attached.
