Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 116, reports as follows:
Bill No. 116,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 663 dated
December 20, 2023, amends Ordinance No. 23-50, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
This bill increases revenues in Federal Grants—Mainstream Voucher Program account($150,000);
and appropriates the same to the Mainstream Voucher Program account for a total appropriation of
$950,000. Funds would be used towards housing assistance payment costs for the Mainstream Voucher
Program.
There was no discussion on the matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 116, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
