Dear Members of the County Council, @ -�
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing as a concerned member of our community to
express my strong opposition to the proposal for the construction of an alternate route through
our neighborhood. As a resident who has witnessed the adverse effects of the existing waste
facility,race track, and numerous commercial buildings in our area, I believe that our community
has endured enough challenges.
The addition of an alternate route through our community raises serious concerns,particularly
regarding the potential increase in traffic. Our neighborhood has already experienced a
considerable burden from existing developments, and introducing additional vehicular activity
would undoubtedly exacerbate the issues we are currently facing.
The construction of an alternate route poses a threat to the tranquility and safety of our
community. The increased traffic flow would not only disrupt the peaceful atmosphere that
residents cherish but also raise concerns about road safety and the well-being of pedestrians,
especially children and the elderly.
Our community has been resilient in the face of previous challenges, but it is crucial for the
County Council to consider the cumulative impact on our quality of life. The strain imposed by
the waste facility, race track, and commercial buildings is already significant, and we implore
you to protect the well-being of our residents by not adding to our burden.
I understand the importance of infrastructure development, but it is equally important to
prioritize the interests and welfare of the communities affected. I respectfully urge the County
Council to reconsider the proposal for the alternate route and explore alternative solutions that do
not compromise the integrity of our neighborhood.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will consider the concerns of our
community members in your decision-making process.
