I am Sukwon Lee, the owner of a convenience store within our vibrant county. I am
writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed tobacco flavor ban bill you are
currently deliberating.
This potential ban on our traditional flavored tobacco products, such as menthol
cigarettes and flavored smokeless tobacco, feels like an unnecessary intervention. If
enacted, my customers might opt to seek these products in neighboring towns or online,
impacting my business significantly.
Our local community relies on our store, and I have been a contributing member,
providing essential services. However, this proposed ban jeopardizes our ability to
continue serving our valued patrons.
I earnestly request your support in standing by us, the local business community, and
kindly ask for your consideration to vote against Bill 102.
