I am writing to ask that you please confirm Matthias Kusch for the Windward Planning Commission.
I've known Matthias as part of the Hilo community and as co-board member of the Hilo Bayfront Trails non-
profit for several years now. I know that serving on this Commission is a decades-long dream of Matthias, and
I know that his passion and skills will serve you and our community perfectly. By selecting Matthias you are
gaining one of the best resources available to make our East Hawaii community better than it already is.
From working with Matthias, I have learned (through discussion and ACTION) that he has deep intergity, a
strong work ethic, sees difficult tasks through to completion, is supportive of others, has empathy, and is
detailed oriented.
