Good Afternoon,
I am pleased to recommend Mattias Kusch for a position on the Windward Planning
Commission. I have worked with Mattias on a variety of projects to advance bicycling and
walkability in Hilo. He has proven himself dedicated to the community's health and safety. I
believe he would be a good candidate to serve on the Windward Planning Commission. He is a
long-time resident of Hawai'i Island who cares deeply about creating sustainable housing, food,
employment, and transportation systems for the people who call Hawaii home-as well as
future generations.
