Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Rachel Able of District 7 to the Board of Appeals.
Rachel has been living on Hawai`i Island for the last twenty years. She has been working at
Kona Community Hospital as a Medical Assistant since 2009, and she is currently a part of the
Oncology department. Rachel is also enrolled in the Bachelor of Sociology program at Virginia
Wesleyan University.
Over the years, Rachel has remained actively involved in her community through volunteer
work. She is passionate about advocating for others and making a positive impact. If confirmed,
she will serve a term ending December 31, 2028.
