' e` I work in the vacation rental industry cleaning and caring for a property.I have developed a strong sense of attachment and responsibility towards this place. It has not only been a source ;,a of income for me but has also allowed me the flexibility to pursue my true passion—working with foster children, whom I affectionately refer to as"bonus kids." As someone who relies on the income from my work at this property,I cannot stress enough how crucial this job is to my financial stability.Losing this opportunity would undoubtedly put me in a position of financial struggle. Moreover,it would severely impact my ability to support and provide for the foster children I work with. The income I earn from my employment enables me to contribute to their well-being,ensuring that they have the necessary resources and care. After talking to the property owners I have come to realize that if Bill 121 passes,my job and many others like it will be eliminated. Many property owners will be forced to sell their homes and with home prices where they are today, none of those homes will end up the in the hands of locals like me. You will destroy jobs and benefit no one. In light of the circumstances,I kindly request the County Council reject Bill 121. With Aloha, Marbella Alford 75-5790 Kele Pl Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 Comm.
