To whom It May Concern
This bill will effectively kill most short term rentals in the state. The resorts are already so high priced that the
average tourist cannot afford them. The condos and rooms offered on short term lease are their only options.
This will definitely affect tourism which is necessary to HI.
As an owner of a condo that rents out for short terms, I have already jumped through lots of hoops and paid
lots of taxes. After my husband died, I depend on this condo rental. If this bill passes, I will have to probably
rent it out on a long term basis and not be able to ever enjoy it for myself again.
Please consider all sides of this.
