I am a frequent visitor to your beautiful island. It is a perspective you have provided not considered. I'm writing to ask you to
reject proposals that seek to limit home sharing platforms.
We are a family of five.We are very responsible respectful people who embrace the opportunity to stay in accommodations
that are intimate and meaningful experiences that you cannot find in a hotel type of stay.
We have met many wonderful hosts who are are responsible,who take extra care to ensure their guests safe and taken care of
and are respectful of the communities where they are staying, hosts who encourage us to frequent local businesses and
support this economy. They tell places to see in the area.
Short-term rentals are an essential part of your economy.Your visitors help support the livelihood of local workers help provide
economic benefits to the entire community. I return due to hosts that love the area.
It is disappointing to learn that County Supervisors are considering severe limits on short-term rentals,which benefit so many
residents and local businesses that so many visitors like my family and the millions of other visitors here directly support.
Please protect this wonderful alternative for families coming to your wonderful island,which supports residents and business
in your community.
