Dear Councilor Kimball,
Until just a week ago I was housing insecure. My prior landlord ended my lease January 4 and I
didn't have a place to live. I found a home where in exchange for being the on-site host for
tourists I get a huge discount on rent. Frankly, it was a Godsend.
My landlord has indicated that if Bill 121 passes he will be forced to sell. My affordable housing
will, instead, become a second home for some rich family from the mainland.
Please don't take my housing away. I work extremely hard and deserve to have a safe place to
stay. Reject bill 121 and leave me and my family alone.
