Dear Councilors,
I am deeply concerned that further regulation of our industry is going to cost me my
home. Though I understand that existing stvr owners and operators are grandfathered in, it is
clear to me that Hawaii County is looking to shut our industry down.
The money I make by renting to tourists is critical to my family and this incremental
approach to eliminating my business scares me. I've got a good thing going right now. My
housing situation is stable and I'm earning enough to meet my needs. Please don't take that
away from me. Reject Bill 121 now.
