Subject: Bike tours in Kohala
Dear Council,
I am someone who commutes by bicycle everywhere and don't own a car. I want to see the council address the lack of
bike/pedestrian infrastructure and not further limit bicycling anywhere on island.
This is a misguided attempt to punish cyclists when what the council should be doing is applying for the huge amount of
federal funds available for bike and pedestrian paths.We need a proactive council as biking brings dollars to the island and
reduces carbon emissions as well as provides health benefits.
