Aloha Ashley and Happy New Year.
Jon Olson, a Puna statesman, has the greatest historical recollection of Puna and I am sure that
alternate road studies have been conducted in the past. Jon has officially drawn plans for a 4-lane
Costal Puna Parkway that may be 60 years old. It would still work in my opinion. Any plan will have
obstacles, let's look at the history first!
While I am all for the alternate route, I am less enthusiastic about spending again for another study.
