Dear Chairman Arakaki:
On behalf of the administration, we are submitting the enclosed resolution to authorize
the condemnation of the mauka-makai connector road from Queen Kaahumanu Highway to Alii
Drive along the Kahalui-Keauhou Pazkway.
Also enclosed is an ordinance amending the bond authorization to include the $3,000,000
for financing the mauka-makai connector. A separate appropriation bill will be sent upon its
completion by the finance department.
