Subject: Puna alternative route
Hello as a resident of the puna district(Hawaiian paradise park) I'd urge you to please accept any funding to look into an
alternate route from puna to Hilo. I'd certainly hope that failure to establish another route never ends in a situation where
people couldn't safely evacuate, but at a minimum we need this because traffic is horrible. Additionally as this is one of the
fastest growing regions of HAWAI'I traffic will continue to get worse. I appreciate that hard choices will need to be made but
please don't let that stop them from being made.
