SUPPORT Res. 416-24: We support this resolution. Although the resolution is not binding and
enforceable, it clearly documents our opposition to PMAR via homestead lands. This resolution asks the
Mayor and the Public Works Director: to remove parcels under the jurisdiction of the Department of
Hawaiian Home Lands from the Puna Makkl Alternate Route (PMAR) Study; not connect PMAR to the
Pana'ewa/Keaukaha communities; and consider alternative routes Mauka of Highway 130.
