Sent from my iPhone SUPPORT Res. 416-24: We support this resolution. Although the resolution is not
not binding and enforceable, it clearly documents our oppostion to PMAR via homestead lands. This
resolution asks the Mayor and the Public Works Director: to remove parcels under the jurisdication of the
Department of Hawaiian Home Lands from the Puna Makai Alternate Route (PMAR) Study; not connect
PMAR to the Pana'ewa/Keaukaha communities; and consider alternative routes mauka of Highway 130.
