First, we might easily lose the Federal Funds approved for Kona not some other area' Second, the Federal Funds were based on 1.5 Million county contributions and $5 Million Federal contributions-the $3 Million road proposed by you would certainl}~ lack the features that make the parkway proposal so popular; Third the possibility that the lesser road being part of the entire parkway might result in denial of federal Funds for the portion from Royal Poinciana to Keauhou. In the absence of awell-planned way to use Federal funds to complete, within five years, that last portion; and upgrade the portion you propose to build for $3 million, please vote down these dangerous proposals.
