SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 435-24; a Resolution
Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation Out and From a Designated Fund
Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account to Provide a Grant to
The Arc of Hilo for the 3rd Annual King Kamehameha's Awesome Athletes
Inclusive Canoe Race.
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 435-24. The proposed amendment is
shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 435-24; material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. A copy of the new
draft of this bill that would result if this proposed amendment were to be adopted is intentionally
omitted due to the limited scope of this proposed amendment.
The fourth WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, The Are of Hilo is requesting funds [for the rental o to purchase
participation medals for all participating athletes and three [20'x 40'] canopies[ -,-of
.11 ooeiof various sizes to provide protection from the elements for
participants, volunteers, and spectators attending the event; and"
