Subject:Animal Control Meeting
Hawaii needs Animal Control Officers that are on duty twenty four hours a day. Emergencies happen at all
hours. We need a dedicated line for animal emergencies. We need people to actually get a ticket if their
animal is destructive or causes damage. Maybe if there are actual consequences we will stop having animal
attacks. I would like to see education in our schools so perhaps children will learn to treat animals
humanly. We have no animal control officers here, I would like to see that change. Yes I can say that. I have -
been upset and angry since last August when my ex husband was killed while walking down the street in
Ocean View. Still no repercussions for the owners!
