However not all dogs are dangerous but merely excited and the real issue can be dangerous neighbors. People who do not secure their animals or walk them properly. The particular situation I wish to call your attention to concerns an elderly woman living in her own home in HPP and her young neighbors renting next door. Both walking their dogs early In The morning and some kind of minor altercation ensued where the neighbors decided to haul the elderly woman to court on a dangerous dog charge. This exacerbated a health issue for the stress and blood pressure of the woman(84)and after sever extended court dates she experienced anxiety and while walking her dog last week she collapsed in the road. The resulting aneurysm led to her death last Friday. She did not regain consciousness. She was a friend of mine and I wrote to the court to defend her dog. My suggestion is that a through investigation must be done before the escalation of court. Who is the problem, the dog or the owner Toby S Hazel Hilo, HI C=J Sent from my iPhone I n -_ < r-E L"i N) Comm. i' ._ Ref. To: ' Ref. Date 1 '_ 1
