My name is Stephanie Northrop and I want to support Resolution 430. We need stronger laws in Hawaii so
people who own dangerous animals are held accountable. Animal control officers need the law behind them
so they can do their job and protect people and other animals here from injury and worse. People in Hawaii
need to see it is not ok for your animal to do harm and if it does there needs to be consequences. It has been
6 months since my daughters lost their father while he was walking down the street due to an attack by 4
dogs. There have been no repercussions for the owners of these dogs. Yes the dogs were euthenized. It is
not the dogs that deserved to be punished it is the owners that raised the dogs to attack. Please pass
Resolution 430. We need laws that say it is not ok for your dogs to run wild and injure other people or animals
and if they do there will be consequences! For all we know these same owners may be living next to you
raising more dogs. Why not in Hawaii nothing happens if your dog kills someone.

Hawaii and if they do you will have consequences! Yes the dogs were euthenized.
