Aloha Council Members:
I write in support of Bill 131, as proposed. Puna is in dire need of an alternate route, and I trust this
Council, and the State of Hawaii DOT can find resolution.
This subject has been discussed for decades, and needs to be addressed. Puna is the largest
growing community in the State, and as such, we require basic infrastructure for the safety and well
being of our community.
Mahalo Ashley, for drafting this bill which will provide our Puna community something of substance.
Mahalo in advance to all Council members for understanding our plight.
