Appropriation should be given to advance the needed alternate route for Pahoa to Hilo.
1)Lack of an alternate route is decreasing the amount of time people may spend with their families as they are stuck in
traffic.
2)Also, lack of an alternate route is a threat to our population in the event a disaster(hurricane, earthquake,volcanic).
3)The traffic congestion is resulting in delayed transport times for those in traumatic accidents, having strokes, heart.
problems or those in labor.
