Aloha
I would like to present testimony in favor of this bill. The traffic on the Keaau Pahoa road or 130 has become not only a
hazard but an inconvenience. As the population in Puna has increased the time to get to Hilo has increased so it now
takes at times 45 minutes or more. When a accident happens we are shut off! This is a hazard for emergencies- you
could die waiting for the EMT to reach you! This is unacceptable when there has to be an alternate route available. The
way to find that route is by voting for this bill so we can start the process. I am asking you to vote for bill 131-24.
