Subject: Alternate Puna Route
Dear Council Members,
Please fund the study for an alternate highway route through Puna. Hwy 130 is not only inadequate, congested and
poorly designed, but it is dangerous to have only one evacuation route in an active volcanic area. We need both an
improved Hwy 130 and an alternate route.
