I am in support of Bill 131-24.
An Alternative Road from Puna to Hilo to supplement Hwy 130 is imperative to ensure the safety of thousands who
travel that way every day!
The conditions of travel as they stand right now with only having route 130 available to get to Hilo is dire,especially
when trying to get to the hospital in an emergency!
Additionally,God forbid, if there is a natural disaster, it is imperative that all those living in Puna have more than one
route to exit the area safely!!
