Re: County of Hawai`i's Acceptance of a Quitclaim Deed from the State of Hawai`i
that Releases the State's Interest in a Remnant Road Reserve Parcel located in
Kona, Which the County Intends to use for Public Parking.
Dear Chairwoman Kimball and Council Members,
Transmitted herewith for Council approval is a resolution accepting a Quitclaim Deed
from the State of Hawai`i, Board of Land&Natural Resources to the County of Hawaii. I am
requesting that this matter be placed on the agenda for the Committee meeting scheduled for
Tuesday, March 5,2024.
Attached is a copy of the Resolution and the corresponding Exhibits A and B.
