Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Suzi Bond of District 4 to the Merit Appeals Board.
As a lifelong resident of Hawaii Island, Suzi is community-minded and has a profound
understanding of its needs and challenges. Throughout her retirement, she has tirelessly
volunteered her time and talent to numerous organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment
to improving the lives of those around her.
Suzi's current role as the Chair of the Hawai'i County Citizen Corps Council is a testament to her
leadership abilities and her passion for civic engagement. Additionally, she is a former instructor
at Volcano School of Arts and Sciences. If confirmed, she will serve a term ending December
31, 2028.
