Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Mr. Tyler Pacheco of District 2 to the Transportation Commission.
As a lifelong resident of Hawaii Island, Tyler possesses a deep understanding of our unique
transportation challenges and opportunities. His education at Hilo High School further grounds
him in our local community and its needs. Additionally, Tyler's entrepreneurial spirit as the
owner of Native Flesh Tattoos demonstrates his ability to think creatively and strategically—a
valuable asset for addressing complex issues.
Furthermore, Tyler's dedication to public service by his involvement in church leadership and
community initiatives, speaks volumes about his character and values. As a worship leader and
public servant, Tyler has demonstrated compassion, leadership, and a genuine desire to make a
positive difference in the lives of others. If confirmed, he will fill a resignation seat with a term
ending December 31, 2024.
