Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Ralph Palikapu Dedman of District 2 to the Game Management
Advisory Commission.
Ralph, a lifelong resident of Hawai`i and a Farrington High School graduate, is passionate about
farming,hunting, fishing, and educating others on protecting the environment and game.
Ralph resided in Ka`u for several years, where he retired as a coffee farmer and served as a
volunteer in various organizations. Currently, he holds the position of President at PELE Defense
Fund - a non-profit organization that aims to preserve and safeguard traditional Hawaiian rights
and customs. If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
