Subject: Support reso 430-24 to strengthen animal laws and align with state rules
Aloha council,
Please support reso 430-24. Our long-time friend was killed taking a walk in his Oceanview neighborhood. His daughters
and ex-wife live each day recounting the avoidable horror and loss.
I never feel it's the,animal's fault. It's always the owners. I believe in benevolent rules but when an owner brazenly and
repeatedly allows the animals in their charge to roam the streets or act in any threatening way to humans who aren't a
threat to them,then action must be taken against the owners(and, again, remedial and appropriate action with the
animal which isn't alway putting them down).
Please support this reso and help the Northrup and other families heal while protecting others from suffering such a
traumatizing experience.
