Subject: Road study for Puna
My apologies, I meant to write sooner but time is fleeting. I believe I missed the deadline for Zoom testimonies.
Please note I am in favor of a Puna Alternate Route study and the ACTUAL pursuit of this road. We have been trying to
get a road built for years and years, and we have put money toward this endeavor and I am disappointed that we are
still at this conceptual phase. But if this is what it will take to actually get something moving, I am all for it. We
desperately need more road infrastructure in Puna and islandwide.We have to start thinking proactively rather than
being in reactive mode.

wanted my students to witness my testimony and that process.
